MAN_Waitlist Check-In
- Pablo Cappelletto (Deactivated)
- ana herradon (Unlicensed)
- Andrea Sanguinetti
- Maria Fernanda Chaguan
This functionality allows any passenger holding a flight reservation either confirmed or not to be waitlisted as a Standby passenger. The passenger will be accepted as "SBY" (Standby ) and his/her weight counted for aircraft weight and balance purposes while he will be listed according to the airline priority code for acceptance if any.
A Boarding Pass showing "SBY" or "Standby" will be printed for waitlisted passengers and so a bag tag for any checked waitlisted piece of baggage.
When possible, a check- in agent will manually accept the "SBY" passengers according to the order established in the Priority Table which was previously configured by the airline.
As a "SBY" passenger is confirmed and accepted on the flight, so it is his/her luggage.
Once there are no more seats available and before flight closeout, passengers who remain waitlisted should be offloaded from the waiting list and transferred to a new flight if appropriate.
Table for Waiting List Priority CodesÂ
Check-in agents will assign a priority code from this table when accepting a passenger as SBY. The priority code will determine the order for passenger acceptance from the Waiting List or "PLW".Â
Passengers will be manually confirmed to board the flight as soon as there is a seat available.
Only agents with Duty 5 and keyword CHKSBT on their sine will be able to manage this table and perform following actions:Â
a new code
an existing code
an existing code
the table
for codes on the table
Priority list administration
To manage: add, modify or delete priority codes from the Priority Table, the following commands will be used.
Managing the Waiting list ( PLW )
Managing the waiting list at the airport regardless of the Reservations waiting list.
For listing a passenger on the Waiting List, the agent needs to add the SBY (=StandBy) indicator together with the priority for acceptance code.
