Description
The management mode or management view will allow the user to modify the electronic accounts.
Once on MANAGEMENT mode, the user will be able to perform several operations for the selected account.
Before modifying, the system allows the user to verify the account details by listing, office ID or customer code, agency name or customer code, the home city for the account being retrieved and finally the status of it, in this example the account is active.
All editable fields will be marked by the pen icon, so to modify any of the applicable fields, the user should first click on the icon and then change the value as desired.
In the below example the credit card payment will be deactivated:
Note how the pen icon changes color to purple to indicate the edit mode is on; once enabled, the desired value should be indicated:
The user will be able to modify multiple fields at once following the same procedure, click on the pen and then modify values, below additional examples:
The above example changes the credit limit from 10.000 USD to 15.000 USD.
When it comes to commissions although the procedure is the same, the modifying user will need to consider that commission can be sorted into three different types.
FREE:
Free commission indicates that the agency/corporate customer will be able to specify commission at will starting from a range of 0 (in case of omission) up to a 100%, this option due to evident revenue risks is not commonly used
FIXED:
This option will freeze the commission amount to be always the same, it can vary from 1% to 100 % but it will always have the same percentual value.
MAX:
This option allows to control the commission and set a maximum value up to which the agency/corporate customer will be able to use on the ticketing entry, in other words, this option sets a percentual range that can be used, so if a max commission of 8% is selected, the ticketing agent can choose to input 1,2,3….8% as commission on the entry.
As an additional note and same as presented in the ELECTRONIC ACCOUNTS, the commission will be presented on different categories; those categories will be domestic cash, international cash, domestic credit card, and international credit card.
For the FREE options, the amount field will be greyed out as there is no need for user´s input; for FIXED and MAX, the amount will be an editable field.
The last step to process the modification or modifications will be to add a REFERENCE which is a text field, stating the reason or person performing the changes. This will be a mandatory field and the SAVE button, will not be active until this field is completed. Once the text is added you can click on SAVE
Delete
In case a deletion transaction it required, just by clicking the DELETE icon the system will process the operation, before doing it, a confirmation box will be shown in which the user can choose to proceed or to cancel the operation.
Suspend
For suspensions, there will be an additional step; after clicking on the SUSPEND button, the system will prompt a reference window, in which a text stating the reason for the suspension, will be required as mandatory, once the user inputs the text, just by clicking on CONFIRM the operation will be processed.
Credit Debit
This option will allow the user to perform an ad-hoc debit or credit to the selected account, this is commonly used when balancing the account due to involuntary issuance or errors.
After clicking on the CREDIT DEBIT button the system will show a new page with an account summary, and a secondary section that will enable the CREDIT/DEBIT option an AMOUNT box and finally a REFERENCE, once those fields are completed, the ADD button will be enabled
New Account
The final option available while on the management view will be a NEW ACCOUNT. This will be a dedicated button that will lead the user to the account creation process on a new page.
Once clicked, the user will need to complete a form, whose mandatory fields will be marked, as common to the system, with (*).
Mandatory fields will be, account TYPE (agency or corporate) in case of an agency, the office ID, CURRENCY, CREDIT LIMIT, CREDIT CARD, and REFERENCE.
Note: | Please note that while assigning the currency, the managing user will be able to assign any currency from the list, yet it is the user´s responsibility to make sure that the applied currency fulfills IATA requirements as far as ticketing currency if related. |
After getting the SUCCESS message the system will redirect the user to the management view in which any other field will be editable.
New Account for Corporate
For CORPORATE accounts some fields will differ while comparing with AGENCY; mandatory fields for CORPORATE will be, CLIENT CODE, ACCOUNT NAME, CITY, CURRENCY, CREDIT LIMIT, AGENCY INVOLVED and REFERENCE
Once fields are completed, just click on CREATE to finish the process.
