Standard currency criteria overriding
This functionality allows modifying the application of international and domestic fare currencies, which are considered by Kiu at the time of quoting an international or domestic segment.
The fare currency, both for domestic and international legs, are defined by IATA for each country. The functionality contained in this section changes the standard criteria established by IATA, and enables Kiu to use the fares published in international currency for domestic segments, and vice versa.
To access the module, first enter in Kiu Click Setup section, and then choose the Fares section.
Once there it is possible to:
Create, modify or delete the standar criteria of currencies
Check the historical modifications
Activate or deactivate an already created configuration
Choose the proper option as appropriate.
Once in the creation or modification screen, the following information must be indicated:
Country where the change applies
Indicate if it applies by country or city
Enter the countries or cities codes where the modification applies
Define if it applies by booking class (at the moment is the only option available)
Enter booking classes
Once the data has been entered, click on the "Create" button and the changes will immediately apply.
To delete a variable already entered, the corresponding delete icon must be clicked.
Airline users will be able to view the configured information. Configuration changes must be requested to Kiu Help Desk.
The system will apply the corresponding currency based on the first segment of the itinerary to be quoted.
