Registration and control of the passenger's body temperature in the Check-in and / or boarding process.
The objective is to detect passengers who may have a fever and prevent dispersal and possible contagion COVID-19
Configuration
The mandatory use and control of temperature is configured from the JJCHK table. The available options are detailed below, please request the configuration from our helpdesk at host@kiusys.com or your account executive
The indicator can be found in section DEFAULT CHECK-IN INITIALIZATION
within parameter [PBT]PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE
Options
Indicator | Description |
---|---|
NO | No mandatory use |
CHK:YES-BRD:NO | Mandatory use at Check-in |
CHK:NO-BRD:YES | Mandatory use at Boarding |
CHK:YES-BRD:YES | Mandatory use at Check-in and Boarding |
/ MAX. ALLOW: <valor> | Maximum temperature control to accept and / or board the passenger |
Control Panel
The flights will be initialized according to the parameter configured in the airline's JJCHK table, the control will be seen under the TEMP: indicator followed by the parameter.
If the flight does not have mandatory control, the parameter will not be displayed in the display.

Accepting passangers with body temperature register
To accept a passenger indicating body temperature Duty 5 is required. The indicator is: ,PT<value>
(passenger´s temperature).
The value may have up to 4 numeric characters including one decimal. Example: 35.6, 100.4
This indicator may be entered in field Other Elements of the graphic seat map.
If the indicator is mandatory and it is not detailed in the entry, the following error message will be displayed:
INVALID - CHECK PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE
If the maximum value control is configured in the JJCHK, the airport agent will see the following error in case a higher temperature than the allowed one is entered:
INVALID - PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE NOT ACCEPTABLE
The accepting command accepts every option the PU command includes.
If connecting passengers are accepted, the temperature control will only apply to the first flight and not to the later ones, by definition the sanitary control corresponds to the airport where the passenger begins his itinerary.
Infant passengers are not considered in PT control, that means, they can be accepted with an adult who does have temperature control
Entry

Editing passengers with body temperature registration
Editing the value of a passenger on a flight with a body temperature indicator requires Duty 5, the indicator is: ,PT<value>
(passenger´s temperature).
The new value entered replaces the previous one or adds it in case the passenger has been accepted without previous value.
You can remove the body temperature value only on those flights that do not require it as mandatory. The indicator is:
,PT0
or,PTDEL
If the control with maximum value is configured in the JJCHK, the airport agent will see the following error in case an attempt is made to edit indicating a temperature higher than the allowed one:
INVALID - PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE NOT ACCEPTABLE
Entry:
PE<flight>/<date><rute>-<secuence number>,PT<value>
Example:
PE4444/5JUNAEPMDQ-8,PT35 CHECKIN-> XX4444/05JUN AEP ORD CODE NAME FOID OFF PARTY NAT. SEAT H.BAG BAG #008. Boarding passengers with body temperature registration
To board a passenger on a flight with a body temperature indicator Duty 5 is required, the indicator is: ,PT<value>
(passenger´s temperature).
If the entry is mandatory and is not clarified in the boarding command, the value will display the following error message:
INVALID - CHECK PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE
If the control with maximum value is configured in the JJCHK, the airport agent will see the following error in case a higher temperature than the allowed one, is entered:
INVALID - PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE NOT ACCEPTABLE
Entry
PB<secuence number>,PT<value>
Example:
PB13,PT351 PAX BOARDED
PB14,PT39 INVALID - PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE NOT ACCEPTABLE
PB14 INVALID - CHECK PASSENGER BODY TEMPERATURE
