Flight indicators can be modified through the schedule change process. Depending on the change to be made, a warning message in the status will be generated for those affected PNRS.
Keep in mind that when a change occurs through the schedule change process, all indicators (VM) that have been placed by CRC will be deleted respecting those that have been placed by schedule change (KS).
The following modifications can only be made after protecting passengers with the KSGMODIFY command
- Header
FLT Flight number
It is not necessary to change the flight or discontinuity date from the schedule change process. It can be done through date division.

We must bear in mind that if there are indicators that are related in the Header and in the Legs, when any of them is modified it must be done in both parts.
Steps to follow
Step 1:
KA*4580 Flight items to modify are displayed
Step 2:
KS.2 Parameter item to modify is selected.
This command displays the flight inventory included in the dates parameter. When this is done you can begin working as it is done in step 3 or ignore it with the KSI command.
From this step, to ignore the KA * ALL or KA * Flight command can also be executed.

Step 3:
KSGMODIFY The flight is protected in order to start modifying it
Response:

System responds with the number of flights, passengers and PNRS to process.
You can verify that the flight is protected by doing the command KS *, which will display the item with the legend *** UPDATE MODE *** as the title.
Step 4:
The necessary modifications are made and in response the item displayed with the modification made is obtained.
Simultaneously, all the changes that need to be made in the different indicators are added, entering them one at a time.
Modify flight number
FLT(Flight)indicator is used with the command KSH to modify a flight number ( KSHFLT)

This change is reflected by modifying all the PNRs of the modified flight.
Modify Legs
Departure or Arrival Time Change:
The indicators are DEP for the departure time and ARR for the arrival time. These are changed by segments with the KSLN command (n is the leg number).

Both departure and the arrival time can be modified simultaneously. The entry of midnight hours is not accepted as 0000 or 2400, and should be replaced if necessary by 2359 or 0001
KSL1DEP1000/ARR1230
This change is reflected as a change in the departure and arrival time in the PNR segments
Equipment Change :
EQP is equipment indicator which is modified by legs. Several equipments can co-exist for the same flight as long as the classes match each other.
Command to modify is :

- Entry is repeated whenever necessary
- This change does not modify PNRs.
Change in booking classes
Class modification is loaded for the first leg but it is good for the whole flight.
CLS is class indicator.Classes can be added or canceled only if they are available in the already existent equipment or one to be loaded
Procedure to modify is the following:
Leg 1 is loaded with the classes in the desired order,according to the example:

After the CLS indicator, the classes that will remain on the flight will be displayed sorted as they were loaded, for example: YBHMVO.
To cancel classes that were on the flight, it must be defined in which class the canceled ones will be located, placing a hyphen, which will indicate the deletion, followed each one by a period (.) And the class where it will be re-accommodated, example : -GB-NM, class G will be eliminated and will be re-accommodated in B, the same with N and M.
The response is the display of the changed made.
Classes can be canceled and re-accommodated in those that are being added as new.
If an error occurs when a class is canceled and it is re-accommodated in another that is not the desired one or in the order of the load or any other type of conceptual error, the KSIR command must be executed, which deletes all the modifications and returns to the next step after having done KSGMODIFY. All correct changes must be entered again.
The only classes that can not be canceled are the mandatory ones, except that all classes in that cabin are canceled and relocated to another cabin.
You can delete one class and re-accommodate it in another class that belongs to another cabin.
This change is reflected by modifying the PNRs that are affected in the change of classes.
Day change:
CDD indicator is "Change date and day". It is modified individually but it is normally done together with a schedule change. Possible levels are 0,1 or 2. It affects legs and it is modified in the following way:

If the change of day occurs on the ground , the system automatically places the 1G (G: Ground) indicator, whereas if it occurs on flight the indicator will be 1A (A: Air).
The change is applied to the affected leg.

On this flight, the day change is applied in leg 2 since it occurs after the arrival of leg 1 and before the departure of leg 2.
This change is reflected by modifying the affected PNRs
Change of Origin or Destination:
You can modify the origin or destination airport of a section or add or delete any of them.
The procedures are the following:

When modifying a boarding airport, the system recalculates the distance between the new loaded leg and the equipment and classes that the leg had.
Schedule should be changed if necessary as it was described in the CHANGE OF HOURS item. Same transaction can be done in the same step as follows:

When modifying a destination airport, the system recalculates the distance between the new loaded leg and the equipment and classes that the leg had.
Schedule should be changed if necessary as it was described in the CHANGE OF HOURS item. Same transaction can be done in the same step as follows:
Changes of Airports with Passenger Re-acccommodation
Keep in mind that in case of re-accommodation if there are passengers at both origin or destination to change, the system will leave them without re-accommodation. To be able to re-accommodate them in the new generated route, the order must be executed next to the command in the following way:

Keep in mind that if you use the REACOK option when modifying some of the origin or destination points , and then you want to modify any other origin or destination for another leg you must repeat the REACOK option entry with every change.
In case you make a mistake, you must execute KSIR (go back to the formaer step of the KSGMODIFY) and start modifying it again. Neither can you replace the same point twice in the same transaction.
Leg Cancellation
A leg can be eliminated and the system will eliminate the associated segments and re-order the segments and flight segments again.
It must be borne in mind that when a leg is eliminated, when it is indicated, the system acts on the destination airport. Therefore, when you want to eliminate the origin of leg o 1, you have to work on an imaginary section or leg 0 (zero).

The system recalculates the distance and eliminates the schedules corresponding to TUC and the related segments. In case it is necessary to modify schedules of the remaining leg, this can be done with the usual procedure.
Returning to the initial example of a 3-leg flight, if you want to cancel JUJ, which is the origin of leg 1, the command is:

Add Legs
Legs can be added and system will create segments based on these legs and re-accommodate them on the flight.
As well as deletion of legs take into account that when adding any the system will act on the destination airport and hence when adding it in the origin leg or leg 1 there is a need to work on an imaginary leg or leg 0 .
Example: Counting on the following inventory and after having done KSGMODIFY.

Al agregar tramos, todos los datos correspondientes a horarios, equipos y clases, los toma del tramo anterior, excepto cuando se agrega sobre el tramo 0 que toma los datos del tramo posterior por lo tanto el siguiente paso es modificar los horarios del tramo nuevo y en caso de ser necesario, el equipo y demás indicadores comerciales.
- Volviendo al ejemplo inicial de un vuelo de 1 tramo, si se quiere agregar JUJ en el inicio del mismo, el comando es:
When adding legs, all the data corresponding to schedules, equipment and classes is extracted from the previous section, except when it is added over leg 0 that extracts the data from the subsequent leg, therefore the next step is to modify the new leg schedules and if necessary, the equipment and other commercial indicators.
Returning to the initial example of a 1-flight flight, if you want to add JUJ at the beginning of it, the command is:

La respuesta es el inventario desplegado con las modificaciones, agregando el nuevo destino, recalculando las distancias, el origen y destino en la cabecera, la cantidad de tramos y armando los nuevos segmentos.
El siguiente paso es modificar los horarios del tramo nuevo y en caso de ser necesario, el equipo y demás indicadores comerciales.
3) Opción de agregado de tramos con el horario:
Se puede realizar el agregado de tramos con el horario del nuevo tramo agregado, haciendo el comando:

The next step is to modify the schedules of the new leg and, if necessary, the equipment and other commercial indicators.
3) Option to add legs with the schedule:
You can add legs with the schedule by doing the following command:

- Si se produce un error, ya sea de escritura o conceptual en el cambio, se puede volver a hacer esta entrada colocando el indicador correcto, dado que los cambios serán validados después del paso 5. (Excepto en CLASES).
- In case of a typo or concept error in the change,
Si después de hacer el comando KSGMODIFY, es necesario restablecer el ítem tomado como estaba en un principio sin efectuar ninguna modificación, la entrada es: KSGMODIFY/UNDO Este comando ignora la protección que el proceso de schedule hace sobre el Vuelo y restaura el mismo. La respuesta es:

Responde la cantidad de vuelos, pasajeros y PNRs restaurados.
- Para visualizar los cambios que se van haciendo durante el proceso, el comando es KS** el cual permite ver el estado de los indicadores antes y después del cambio.
- Una vez realizado el comando KSGMODIFY, no se puede ejecutar KA*ALL en la misma ventana. El sistema responderá NOT PERMITTED. SCHEDULE PROCESS. Se puede visualizar un KA* cambiando de ventana.
- Se pueden ejecutar los comandos para agregar los indicadores comerciales a los vuelos (límite de venta, límite de lista de espera, cierre o apertura de clases, etc.) mientras se hace alguna modificación de vuelos, pero después de la entrada KSGMODIFY, no antes. Solamente se puede obviar el KSGMODIFY si las únicas modificaciones a realizar son de indicadores comerciales.
- Para ignorar las modificaciones que se han realizado después del KSGMODIFY, se puede realizar el comando KSIR. El mismo ignora los cambios realizados y vuelve al paso posterior al KSGMODIFY. Paso 5: En el caso de haber realizado una eliminación o cambios de tramos, se debe ejecutar una reacomodación de los pasajeros afectados a dichos tramos o segmentos. Para ejecutar la reacomodación de pasajeros ver en las páginas siguientes, el capítulo REACOMODACION DE PASAJEROS DENTRO DEL PROCESO DE SCHEDULE CHANGE
- Paso 6:
KSAVE Fija los cambios y finaliza el proceso de schedule
Respuesta:

Este procedimiento, además de procesar y fijar los cambios realizados, modificará los PNRs afectados colocando en los segmentos confirmados del vuelo modificado un status UN y creará un segmento nuevo con los datos actualizados y status TK. Aquellos PNRs que hubiesen estado en lista de espera y les colocará también un status UN al segmento modificado y un status TL al nuevo segmento. Los segmentos que estuviesen con status MM o HM antes de la modificación aparecerán también UN pero el nuevo segmento quedará MM o HM según corresponda.
