DEI210 - PLANE CHANGE WITHOUT AIRCRAFT TYPE CHANGE

The Data Element Identifier (DEI) 210 is used in the SSM messages following IATA directives on Standard Schedule Interchange Manual (SSIM).

This documentation will show you how to add and delete the DEI within KIU Schedule. The element PLANE CHANGE WITHOUT AIRCRAFT TYPE CHANGE (DEI210) is used for these situations

  • There is a requirement to clear customs and deplane and re-board the same physical aircraft and type

  • Airlines require an aircraft change en-route to the same aircraft type, ie deplane and re-board a different aircraft but of the same aircraft type

Add DEI

The DEI210 element might be added during flight creation or on a previous flight

Add in previously created flight

In order to add DEI210 on a previously created flight, you need to follow the flight modification flow

  1. Retrieve flight (KA*)

  2. Retrieve item (KS.)

  3. Add DE210 to the leg/s (KSEI/)

  4. Save changes(KSAVE)
