Description
KIU Click allows the user to view and display fares without the need for a reservation. This process is commonly used to check fare´s restriction beforehand to make sure that given those conditions a specific fare will be valid for a certain itinerary.
It can also be used as a way to get the cheapest available fare by identifying the applicable class of service, this way, at the moment of creating a record the user will know in advance which class to select.
The fare display option is included within the RESERVATIONS module:

specific qualifiersSpecific Qualifiers
Following the above logic and, if desired, the user will be able to narrow down the search by adding additional qualifiers to the fare display request. The additional qualifiers maybe:
Travel Date:
This will display a calendar allowing the user to select the travel date for which fares are being queried.
Pricing Date:
Same as Travel Date, this option will display a calendar to select any date, specfically specifically, this option is used to check applicable fares when pricing in the future as fares being applied today, fares may vary from those that will be applicable on a future date.
Carrier:
In case the company works with interline agreements, the option of checking for third party fares will be available as well. To do so, just input the two-letter code for the partner carrier.
Currency:
By default, KIU CLICK will display applicable fares based on various configurations and settings, one of them is the currency setting; so in case you want to check for fares in any currency other than your default, you can input the three-letter code identifier for the desired currency
Passenger type:
Some fares are applicable only to certain passenger types such as seniors, youth, military, etc. When checking for this type of fares, the specific three-letter code for the desired passenger type must be completed in order to retrieve the applicable fares.
Displaying Fare Notes
Once the fares have been displayed, you can take a look at the fare rules with two different methods, one of them is by simply clicking on the fare line from which rules are to be displayed, the second method consists on typing the fare item number (shown on the lefthand side column) under the Fare Nbr box and click on “SEE“
Any of the above will display the applicable fare rules as loaded to the fare, hereunder an example:
